CIVILSCAPE

CIVILSCAPE je međunarodno udruženje nevladinih organizacija civilnog društva (NGO) koje svoj rad posvećuju zaštiti, upravljanju i planiranju krajolika, u skladu s Europskom konvencijom krajolicima (European Landscape Convention, Firenca, 20. listopada 2000.godine).
CIVILSCAPE je osnovan u Firenci, 23. veljače 2008. godine, od predstavnika nevladinih organizacija iz šest zemalja (među njima i ECOVAST International). Glavna tema interesa je krajolik, koji označava područje, opaženo od čovjeka, čija je narav rezultat djelovanja i međudjelovanja prirodnih i / ili ljudskih čimbenika. Stoga svojim aktivnostima pokriva cjelokupni teritorij; prirodna, ruralna, urbana i peri-urbana područja. Osim područja kopna uključuje kopnene vode i morska područja. Obuhvaća krajolike koji bi se mogli smatrati izvanrednim, ali i svakodnevne, obične ili degradirane krajolike. Krajolici su bitna sastavnica čovjekova okoliša, izraz zajedničke raznolikosti kulturne i prirodne baštine i temelj njegovog identiteta.

Mreža CIVILSCAPE je posvećena stvaranju poticajnog okruženja za razvoj organizacija civilnog društva, jačanju infrastrukture građanskog sektora, promicanju suradnje između pojedinih organizacija civilnog društva, te između civilnog društva, političkih ili administrativnih tijela i drugih aktera, kako bi se unaprijedilo javno dobro u Europi i šire.

CIVILSCAPE cooperates with two partners on european level regarding the European Landscape Convention (ELC). Both European partners are umbrella organisations like CIVILSCAPE. These three partners are the European Landscape Networks.

RECEP-ENELC

RECEP-ENELC is an international association of local and regional authorities promoting the implementation of the European Landscape Convention continent-wide. It was established in 2006, under the aegis of the Council of Europe’s Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.

In this framework, RECEP-ENELC encourages the dissemination of scientific and technical knowledge concerning the landscape. Within RECEP-ENELC, local and regional authorities have the opportunity to co-operate within a common framework, supported by an international structure, establishing contacts with the competent international organisations, EU Institutions, States’ authorities, non-governmental organisations, universities and other bodies interested in the implementation of the ELC. In accordance with its Statutes, RECEP-ENELC organs are the General Assembly, the Executive Board, the Technical Co-ordination Board and the Scientific Committee.

UNISCAPE

UNISCAPE

UNISCAPE is an international non-governmental organisation composed of sub-national public authorities. Its aim is to support the interested local and regional authorities, at the scientific, technical, political and administrative levels, in their activities aimed at implementing the ELC’s principles within their territories.

The aim of UNISCAPE is to support and reinforce scientific interdisciplinary co-operation among European universities regarding landscape issues, especially in the areas of research and teaching. UNISCAPE promotes the principles and the objectives of the European Landscape Convention. Concerning research activities, UNISCAPE promotes study and experimentation activities relating to landscapes, their evolution and transformations.
UNISCAPE encourages and assists its members to provide each other technical and scientific assistance in landscape matters through exchange of experience and the results of research projects; to promote the exchange of landscape specialists, in particular for training and information purposes; to exchange information on all matters covered by the European Landscape Convention requirements.
